Pulse Paths: frequently asked questions
How do I win a level?
Light every node and leave no arrows on the board. Tap an arrow to fire its pulse. A pulse lights a node of its own colour, and lit nodes let any pulse pass through.
How do stars and par work?
Par is the fewest moves a level can be solved in. Every level is proven solvable at par. Finish at par for 3 stars, within 2 moves of par for 2 stars, and in any number of moves for 1 star. Undone moves don't count.
I'm stuck. Can I get help?
Tap Hint to see the next move of a shortest solution, Undo to take back a move (this works even after you lose), or Restart to try the level again.
Why did my tap do nothing?
A tap only counts if it changes the board. If an arrow is blocked, it shakes instead and the move isn't counted.
How do I turn the sound off?
On the title screen, tap Sound: On to switch it to Sound: Off.
Does the game need the internet?
No. Pulse Paths works completely offline, with no ads and no account.
Will my progress move to a new phone?
Not at the moment. Progress is saved only on the device you play on, and it is deleted if you uninstall the game. Cloud saves may come in a future update.
How do I reset my progress?
On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Pulse Paths → Storage → Clear storage. On iPhone, delete and reinstall the app.
Is the game colour-blind friendly?
Yes. Each colour also has its own symbol (circle, diamond, triangle, square, star), so you never need to tell colours apart.
Does Pulse Paths collect my data?
No. See our Privacy Policy.
